Ithaca Leadership offers two thinking environment courses in June and July

“Experiencing a thinking environment was pivotal for me. It felt like coming home. I felt relief, gratitude and generosity. The “ease” was just wonderful and the “thinking pairs” sessions were simply amazing. It felt joyous and playful, like my mind was doing somersaults in its thinking.”  Melanie Leitch, HR Specialist, France.

It’s amazing testimonials like Melanie’s that spur Ithaca Leadership to offer more Time to Think training to those looking to their own personal growth as well as that of executive leaders in their organisations.

Ithaca has scheduled two Time to Think courses in June and July this year. These are the certificate Time to Think Foundations Programme for leaders and coaches on 22, 23 and 27th June and the Thinking Partnership Session Programme, the foundation to the Time to Think Coach Certification, on the 5th, 6th and 7th July.   These courses will be facilitated by Ithaca’s founder and CEO Creina Schneier, who is one of a small group of Time to Think faculty globally.

Creina has over 20 years of experience in team dynamics, leadership coaching and change management. Having worked with leaders from around the globe, Creina’s skill lies in facilitating the deepening of their self-awareness and insight.  This ignites their best thinking and guides their relationship practices to gain the most from their peer and subordinate teams.

“The Thinking Environment produces the best practical results out of people’s time together and at the same time dignifies, lifts and allows the human mind and spirit to soar,” Creina says.

“The aim is to apply the principles of a Thinking Environment to everyday work engagements, with people in pairs and groups, to improve the quality of everyone’s thinking and the outcomes of every interaction,” she adds.

The Foundation  Programme will introduce participants to all the building blocks and applications in the Time to Think approach. Those wishing to work with individuals in learning how to partner people to achieve their best independent thinking will learn how to do so in the Thinking Partnership Session Programme.

‘Everything we do begins with thinking. If our thinking is good, our decisions are good, our actions are good, our outcomes are good.’ Nancy Kline, founder Time to Think.

Ultimately, this approach transforms everyday personal and business communication into rigorous clear-thinking positive experiences.

“Having a group of total strangers taking the time to listen to me share my thoughts without judgment and then to receive affirming feedback through Rounds and Thinking Pairs, was life changing.” Kerry Botha, Communications Consultant, SA.

“Time to Think provides ways of thinking and behaving that empower and liberate in all contexts in which one engages other individuals or groups. Adoption and practice of the underpinning Positive Philosophical Choice and Ten Components will create a foundation for building and sustaining relationships, connections and interactions that are healthy, respectful, and constructive.” David Preece – HR and Coaching Specialist, SA.

Jane Hemingway, Management Development Coach at Fareham Borough Council, UK, had this to say after attending a Time to Think Foundations course held by Ithaca Leadership:  “It exceeded my expectations. Creina was a really engaging facilitator with a genuine passion for Time to Think, the creation of a thinking environment and developing others in this area.

It was an intensive series of sessions where we were able to apply the knowledge transferred with other delegates and to experience a thinking environment.  Creina is bright, insightful and knowledgeable and provides great feedback. In this way she ensures delegates truly understand the benefits created by a thinking environment and are ready to introduce the techniques in the workplace.”

David Preece concurred. “It was a pleasure and privilege to attend the Time to Think Foundation Course.  Creina demonstrated and modelled all she was teaching, providing invaluable feedback and encouragement throughout. I am inspired and look forward to continuing the exploration and application of the Thinking Environment.”

Ithaca Leadership’s Time To Think courses enable a step change in people’s growth and their evolution within their organisations, their teams and in their personal capacity.
